Whether you’re new to Fatigue Risk Management (FRM) or adjusting to new fatigue regulations, getting up to speed can feel challenging. The course has been designed as an introduction to fatigue, fatigue risk management and countermeasures. It is most applicable to safety, rostering, fatigue managers across many safety critical industries, including but not limited to rail, oil & gas, aviation, maritime energy/utilities, construction, healthcare and mining,Â
The course meets the requirements in the aviation industry for fatigue risk management training from ICAO Doc 9966 Manual for the Oversight of Fatigue Management Approaches and EASA Fatigue Risk Management Training AMC1 ORO.FTL.250.
It is also relevant for compliance or operations managers, human factors professionals and senior managers who want to improve their understanding of fatigue risk management.
There are no prerequisites to attend the course. You may be actively working in the field of fatigue risk management or someone who just wants to get a better understanding of the area.
The VIP Package offers the same Fatigue and Countermeasures Training as well as a one hour consultation with a FRMSc expert for you to discuss your challenges and get advice on how to effectively manage fatigue in your organisation. The consultation will be arranged after the training course at a mutually agreed time.

The Training Course will be delivered using Zoom.
Barbara has over 40 years experience working in fatigue, countermeasures and sleep research. She is a trainer on the CAAi Effective Fatigue Risk Management course, member of the EASA Scientific Committee and co-founder of The FRMS Forum.
 There are no prerequisites to attend the course. It is designed for people an interest in fatigue. If you have knowledge about fatigue risk management and safety management systems then that would be helpful.Â
Fatigue risk management can benefit many industries, whether they have regulations or not. In aviation, the use of Flight Time Limitations does not remove the need for fatigue risk management, and the same also applies to rail.Â
Aviation and rail industries appear to be leading the way in terms of fatigue risk management, it can also be applied across other industries. The course is designed to provide knowledge that can be applied within aviation, rail and other industries, including, healthcare, oil and gas, energy, mining and many other industries.
